RETURN GOVERNMENT TO THE PEOPLE
A party that fights for the common good
The Australian Citizens Party strives to return Australia to its own citizens, and to co-operate for peace and goodwill internationally. Our policies aspire to accomplish this goal by retaining the decision-making powers on national issues within Australia.

I am running to support the Citizen’s Party National Policy Platform and there are two additional signature policies that I am running on for Moreton.
Citizens Party Core Policy Overview
Independent Foreign Policy
End Australia’s foreign policy subservience to the USA and UK by asserting an independent foreign policy in Australia’s national interest. No AUKUS—Save $368 BILLION! It won't make us safer and threatens our largest trading partner. Be a partner of peace in the Pacific.
Economic Sovereignty
Return Australia's banking services to the people. Establish a public Aussie Post Bank to support local industries, affordable housing, and secure banking services. Use national credit to boost productive capacity, fund infrastructure, and create jobs for a stronger future.
Integrity in Governance
Keep government accountable by banning corporate donations, ensuring justice for financial victims, and protecting whistleblowers.
National Resilience
Strengthen food, fuel, and energy security with public ownership, regional investments, and policies benefiting Australians over corporate interests. Return prosperity to communities.

SIGNATURE POLICIES for MORETON
Thirty years of neoliberal policies have lead us to the national emergency we are currently facing. I never thought I would grow up to live in a country where so many people are sleeping rough on the streets, in their cars, in tents, in parks, couch surfing or in insecure accommodation. The number of homeless Australians is growing at an alarming rate.
A whole generation of young Australians are locked out of the housing market, even those working professionally full-time on two incomes. Couples who have worked hard and saved have to compete with investors, heavily subsidised with tax incentives from the taxpayer.
To fully address this problem, we have to confront the reality that three decades of neoliberal policies on housing have failed. Having a secure place to call home is the birthright of every Australian Citizen.
It is no longer a crisis, it is a National Emergency. The number of summits, talk-fests and ‘roundtables’ of politicians and industry heavyweights over the last few years is not addressing the task quickly enough.
My proposed approach would be a staged one. Read more...
Brisbane 2032— Generational Transport Infrastructure for Moreton
My plan proposes a dedicated Busway linking the SE Busway to Mains Road and a ‘Fast Rail’ tunnel from Trinder Park to Park Road (to be constructed after the games) with two new underground stations at Sunnybank Central and QSAC.
This would remove the Gold Coast express trains from 6 level crossings and free up track space on the overland corridor to extend passenger rail from Salisbury to Beaudesert (S2B).
This leverages a one-off Olympics investment to benefit the Southside, Logan and the Gold Coast and supports the construction of a world class 50,000–70,000 seat stadium at QSAC.
A detailed proposal was prepared as part of a submission to the 100-day state government inquiry into Olympic venues.
